Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened3/4 cup packed brown sugar1/2 cup sugar1 large egg1 teaspoon almond extract2 cups all-purpose flour1/4 cup baking cocoa1 teaspoon baking soda1/2 teaspoon salt1 cup white baking chips1 cup chopped almonds
Preparation
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and extract. Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in the chips and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375° for 7-9 minutes. Cool on pans for 1 minute before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
