Ingredients
2 cups biscuit/baking mix2 tablespoons instant chocolate drink mix2 teaspoons baking powder1 large egg1 cup 2% milk1/2 cup sour cream1/4 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chipsOptional: Maple syrup and butter
Preparation
In a large bowl, combine biscuit mix, drink mix and baking powder. Whisk egg, milk and sour cream; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips.
Pour batter by 1/4 cupfuls onto a greased hot griddle. Turn when bubbles form on top; cook until second side is golden brown. If desired, serve with maple syrup and butter.
