Ingredients

1 medium ripe avocado, peeled and pitted1 plum tomato, chopped1/4 cup finely chopped sweet red pepper2 tablespoons thinly sliced green onions1-1/2 teaspoons lemon juice1 garlic clove, minced1/4 teaspoon salt1/8 teaspoon pepperDash cayenne pepper1/4 teaspoon minced fresh thyme, optionalTortilla chips

Preparation

In a small bowl, mash avocado until smooth. Stir in the tomato, red pepper, onions, lemon juice, garlic, salt, pepper, cayenne and thyme if desired. Serve with tortilla chips.
