Ingredients

2 teaspoons chili powder1 teaspoon sea salt1 teaspoon ground cumin1 teaspoon pepper1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper6 bone-in chicken thighs (about 2-1/4 pounds)1/3 cup lime juice (about 3 limes)1 tablespoon olive oil1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves5 garlic cloves, halved

Preparation

Combine the first 5 ingredients; rub over chicken. Place in a 4- or 5-qt. slow cooker. Combine remaining ingredients in a blender; cover and process until pureed. Pour over chicken.

Cook, covered, on low until a thermometer inserted in chicken reads 170°-175°, 3-4 hours.
