Ingredients

1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour1 cup sugar2 teaspoons baking powder1/4 teaspoon salt1/4 cup butter, softened2 large eggs, lightly beaten1/2 cup whole milk1 teaspoon vanilla extractTOPPING:1 cup chopped walnuts1 cup packed brown sugar2 tablespoons all-purpose flour2 to 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon2 tablespoons butter, melted

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. In a small bowl, whisk the butter, eggs, milk and vanilla. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened; set aside. In a small bowl, combine topping ingredients.

Spread half of batter into a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with half of the topping. Carefully spread remaining batter over top; sprinkle with remaining topping.

Bake at 375° for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Serve warm.
