Ingredients
1 spiral-sliced fully cooked bone-in ham (8 to 10 pounds)1 cup water3/4 cup honey, dividedGLAZE:1 cup sugar1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon1/2 teaspoon ground allspice1/2 teaspoon pepper1/2 teaspoon paprika1/4 teaspoon ground ginger1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg1/4 teaspoon ground mustard1/4 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
Preparation
Place ham and water in a 7-qt. slow cooker. Brush ham with 1/2 cup honey. Cook, covered, on low until a thermometer reads 140°, 4 to 5 hours.
Preheat broiler. Combine glaze ingredients. Transfer ham to a rack in a shallow roasting pan, cut side down. Brush with remaining 1/4 cup honey; sprinkle with glaze mixture, pressing to adhere. Broil 6-8 in. from heat until lightly browned and sugar is melted, 3-5 minutes, rotating as needed. Cover with foil; let stand until glaze hardens, about 30 minutes.
