1 cup all-purpose flour2 teaspoons garlic salt2 teaspoons pepper1 teaspoon paprika1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning1 large egg1/2 cup 2% milk1 broiler/fryer chicken (3 to 3-1/2 pounds), cut upOil for frying

Preparation

In a resealable container, combine the flour and seasonings. In a shallow bowl, beat egg and milk. Dip chicken pieces into egg mixture, then add to container, a few pieces at a time, and shake to coat.

In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat 1/4 in. of oil to 375°. Fry chicken, a few pieces at a time, 7-10 minutes on each side or until chicken is golden brown and juices run clear. Drain on paper towels.
