Ingredients
1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed1/4 cup chopped onion1/4 cup cubed fully cooked ham1/4 cup butter, cubed1/4 cup water1 garlic clove, minced1/2 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon pepper
Preparation
In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 8-10 minutes or until beans are crisp-tender. Drain if necessary.
