Ingredients

2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour3/4 cup sugar3/4 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon baking soda1/2 teaspoon baking powder2 large eggs1 cup molasses3/4 cup water2-1/4 cups fresh cranberries or frozen cranberries, thawedBUTTER SAUCE:1-1/2 cups sugar3/4 cup heavy whipping cream3/4 cup butter, cubed

Preparation

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, baking soda and baking powder. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, molasses and water; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in cranberries.

Pour into a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Bake at 350° for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the sauce ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cut warm cake into squares; serve with butter sauce.
