Ingredients

1/4 cup butter, softened1 cup sugar1 large egg1 teaspoon grated orange zest2 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon baking powder1 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon baking soda3/4 cup orange juice1 cup chopped fresh or frozen cranberries1 cup golden raisins

Preparation

In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg and orange zest. Combine the dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with juice. Fold in cranberries and raisins. Pour into a greased 9x5-in. loaf pan.

Bake at 350° for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes; remove from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
