Ingredients

1 cup uncooked wheat berries, rinsed2 celery ribs, finely chopped1 medium tart apple, diced4 green onions, sliced1 cup dried cranberries1 cup chopped pecansDRESSING:3 tablespoons walnut oil2 tablespoons cider vinegar1 tablespoon minced fresh sage or 1 teaspoon rubbed sage2 teaspoons minced fresh thyme or 3/4 teaspoon dried thyme2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon Dijon mustard3/4 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon pepper

Preparation

Cook wheat berries according to package directions; drain and cool. Meanwhile, combine the next 5 ingredients; add wheat berries. Whisk dressing ingredients. Pour over salad; toss to coat. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
