Ingredients

3 tablespoons butter3 tablespoons all-purpose flour2 tablespoons chopped green onions2 cups 2% milk1 can (14-3/4 ounces) salmon, drained, skin and bones removed1/2 teaspoon salt1/8 teaspoon pepper6 slices bread, toasted

Preparation

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth; add onions. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for until thickened, about 2 minutes. Reduce heat. Stir in salmon, salt and pepper. Cook until heated through, 10-12 minutes. Serve over toast.
