1 large egg, beaten1/3 cup milk1/2 cup dry bread crumbs or rolled oats1 garlic clove, minced1 to 2 teaspoons curry powder1 teaspoon ground cumin1/2 teaspoon salt1/2 teaspoon pepper1 cup shredded carrots1 medium onion, chopped1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350°. Combine first 10 ingredients. Add ground beef; mix well. Pat meat mixture into a 9x5-in. loaf pan. Bake until no pink remains, 60-75 minutes.
